Your Responsibilities
As a project manager at ANDRITZ, you will play a key role in our operations. You will lead technically complex projects from the sales phase to final delivery - focusing on the Scandinavian market. You will have an active and present role, and it is common for you to be on-site at our customers' installations to follow up on the work, ensure progress, and build strong relationships with both customers and employees.
You will serve as the central contact point between assembly, workshop, and design team, ensuring that projects are delivered according to plan - both technically and financially.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Project management, planning, and coordination of design, manufacturing in the workshop, and assembly activities.
- Driving sales processes from prospecting to quote preparation and contract signing.
- Ongoing customer dialogue and technical concept development in close collaboration with internal specialists.
- Operational presence in projects - you will follow up on the work in the field and provide support where needed.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in leading technically complex projects. You have a technical university degree, such as a Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent competence acquired through long and relevant work experience, for example, in boiler service or industrial assembly projects. It is advantageous if you have previous experience as a mechanical or process engineer and have worked with pressure vessels, piping systems, or boilers in some form.
You are familiar with technical sales and comfortable handling bids, contracts, and negotiations with customers. The role requires you to combine technical depth with business acumen and that you are used to taking overall responsibility for projects - from the first customer dialogue to delivery and follow-up. You collaborate seamlessly with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and international contacts and are comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English. As a person, you need to be attentive, open, and unpretentious. You should be able to work independently but also lead others and work in teams. We want you, as a project manager, to engage and inspire your colleagues with clear goals and contribute to an engaged work climate. It is also important that you can handle working in a dynamic organization that is growing and that you can seize the opportunities it offers and the challenges you face. You must have the ability to deliver according to established requirements, both technically and financially, according to schedule. You collaborate well with internal and external parties and thrive in this environment as our contacts are customers, material and subcontractors, and internal functions in both Sweden, Austria, and Finland.
You also have experience working in business systems like SAP, which is an advantage in the role. Travel is expected in connection with projects and customer meetings.
